Reference terms / 2026 edition

Access

These terms explain the scope of the register and the limits of using a historical reference as practical guidance.

Educational purpose

roverquveli.world provides independent information about underground settlements, tunnels, excavated architecture and transport systems. It is not an engineering consultancy, travel operator, emergency service or authority responsible for any named location.

Content is general educational material. It is not structural, geotechnical, medical, legal or professional safety advice. Obtain appropriate site-specific advice for decisions requiring expertise.

No permission to enter

A place’s inclusion does not establish a right of access. Never enter restricted tunnels, shafts, railway areas, closed heritage rooms or service infrastructure. Follow applicable law, posted restrictions and the responsible operator’s instructions. Do not disturb fabric, remove objects or use photographs to identify unauthorised entry routes.

Historic entrances may be sealed, routes may have changed and a formerly public area may be closed. Confirm current public access, accessibility, opening hours and operating conditions through official channels.

Accuracy and interpretation

We aim to distinguish documented facts from interpretation, but content may contain errors or become outdated. Historical dates, dimensions and uses may be debated or revised. We do not guarantee completeness, uninterrupted availability or suitability for a particular purpose.

Images illustrate construction details unless explicitly identified. They are not measured surveys or proof that a feature occurs at a named site. A source link does not imply that the source endorses our interpretation.

Independent status

This website is not affiliated with UNESCO, the named museums, transport operators or heritage-site managers. Their names are used for identification and reference. External sites are operated independently and their content, availability and policies may change.

The contact composer creates plain text locally. It does not transmit a message, open a support ticket or guarantee an editorial response. Copying and downloading depend on browser capabilities. You are responsible for reviewing the text and deciding whether to send it through your own email service.

Submit material you have a right to share. Avoid private personal information, defamatory allegations and instructions that facilitate unauthorised access. Sending a correction does not guarantee publication or agreement with the proposed interpretation.

Copyright and quotation

Original website material is protected by applicable copyright law. Rights in third-party material remain with their respective owners. You may link to pages and use quotations where permitted by law, with appropriate attribution. Do not assume that a photograph is freely reusable merely because it appears on the site. Contact us about uses beyond applicable legal exceptions.

Responsibility and lawful limits

You remain responsible for your conduct and for checking official information before acting. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website does not accept liability for losses caused by reliance on general reference content or interruptions to the service. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or overrides mandatory consumer rights.
