Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small records a website can ask a browser to store and send with later requests. Local storage is a separate browser facility: values remain on the device and are not automatically attached to network requests. Both can be relevant to privacy and consent rules.
The supplied site code does not set cookies or use analytics, advertising trackers or third-party embeds. It can save one local preference when you explicitly choose an option below. Essential-only and accepted choices currently provide the same reading experience because no optional tracking is present.
Your browser preference
Choose “Essential Only” to record a restrictive preference, or “Accept” to record acceptance. Acceptance does not activate any optional technology in this edition and is not blanket consent to future additions.
JavaScript is needed to read and change the saved preference here.
Storage inventory
| Key | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| roverquveli-preference | Stores “essential” or “accepted” after your choice | Until removed, cleared by the browser or expired under browser policy |
What is not stored
The website does not put research-note text, email addresses, page-reading history or a unique visitor identifier into this preference record. Menu state and tab selection are not persisted. The composer keeps its prepared message in page memory until it is replaced or the page is closed; your browser may separately restore form fields according to its own settings.
Removing or blocking storage
Use “Remove preference” to delete the listed key, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings. Storage is specific to a browser profile and origin. A choice made on one device does not automatically carry to another. Private-browsing modes and blocked storage may prevent persistence; the page will report when it cannot save a choice.
Blocking local storage does not prevent reading the register or using its basic navigation. Browser security settings may separately affect clipboard copying or downloads.
Hosting and other services
This inventory describes the supplied website code. Hosting infrastructure may process technical requests or add security-related behaviour outside these files. External source websites have their own storage policies once you follow their links. See Reader Privacy for the distinction between local functions, network delivery and email correspondence.
